Hey y’all! I’m JoJo.

I mod/run the blog Texasstuck. I’m actually one of two new mods there. Saw the blog needed some help so I hopped on in.

I’m a native San Antonian and I saw this blog needed some help too so why the hell not hop on this too. 

I’m really excited to be running this blog and can’t wait to hear about all the meet ups y’all have planned and any fun projects we can do.

The audition rate for the A-Kon Homestuck panel is pathetic to say the least (n˘v˘•)¬ The panel is 9 pm on Friday.

If you answered yes to these things and live in the great state of Oklahoma and plan to be attending Izumicon, (November 1-3, 2013) then here’s your chance to shine. You must be attending the convention to be in on this, obviously we’ll need you there in person. If you live out of state, but are still planning to be at the convention, let me know and we’ll work something out.

YOU MUST BE WILLING TO RP FOR AN AUDITION.

I just talked to a friend who is very anti-Homestuck.  She said there’s a game going around where people try to steal horns from Homestuck cosplayers without touching them.  I’ve talked to her, explained why this is a horrible thing to do, but I don’t know how far out this reaches- she said her friend has eight pairs he’s stolen.

Apparently this is primarily targeted at the bad fans.  You know, the ‘buckets and fuckass’ ones.  The ones who try and force it down peoples’ throats.  But I’ll be honest- it shouldn’t happen to ANYONE, and I don’t trust the average joe to know or care about the difference between a good one and a bad when they see a pair of fallen horns ripe for the picking.

So PLEASE, at your next convention (I’m in Austin, so A-Kon and Anime Overload for me) watch out for your horns, and the horns of others!  Secure them well, and if you see someone take a pair be sure to report them to con security.
